Joao Havelange (Former FIFA President) dies aged 100

FIFA has announced the passing on of its former President, Joao Havelange, at the age of 100. Mr Havelange, a Brazilian, was the 7th President of FIFA and served for six terms, from 1974 to 1998. He is credited with significantly developing FIFA as a global brand. Nigeria U17 vs. Niger U17: CAF U17 Qualifier

This Saturday, August 6th, the National Stadium, Abuja will host the AFCON U17 Qualifier between Nigeria and Niger. The Golden Eaglets of Nigeria defeated Niger’s Junior Menas 2-0 in the third place play-off of the AFCON U17 last year, before winning the FIFA U17 World Cup for a record 5th time. NFF Becomes First in Africa to Adopt FIFA DTMS

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has become the first FIFA member association in Africa to sign up for the FIFA Domestic Transfer Matching System (DTMS).
